I had a few issues over the summer with the windscreen trim (left and right) and the fact the rubber had split/degraded quite bad after only 4 years and 12k miles. :-(
Just wanted to let people know in case they get the same problem (I managed to get money back with Renault UK).
The issue was causing water to get in between the trim and windscreen and over time would have potentially caused some corrosion, especially of the metal trim clips. (A couple of mine had started to go)
Also one to watch out for if you see water getting in where it shouldn't.
