Width of standard 197 wheels 7"??

Bummer! Hoping they were 7" so I could buy some 7.5"
and not have to use my spacers! Need to find some 8" ones then!

think theres a few mm difference but most is due to the 8x18 size to fill the arches...

I should say at this point, dan is wantin a second set for trackdays, you cant get a set of track tyres small enough to match the std tyre size, smallest is 225 40 18, and work out a bit big thus slowing turn in, direction change, response and also acceleration.

On 18s with 225 40 its a lot less lively compared to 18s on 225 35 and 17s on 215 45

If that actually makes any difference to your laptime, lap after lap, I'd love to come and see the F1 or GT car that you drive for a living.. :rofl:
