Width of 18's

Hi guys,

Forgive me if this has been asked before but I got very excited and ordered some 18" OZ Ultraleggera. My car is lowered on HR springs and the new wheels are 18 8J with 225/40/18 and it rubs when hitting dips in the road. If anyone else has 18's what width and tyres have you gone for?

8X18 ET66 raider wheels on mine. 225/40 18 tyres. stock cup suspension. all good.

Thanks Peter, it just catches on the top of the front bumper so my options I believe are;

215 tyre instead of 225
Or
35 profile rathan 40
Or
Leave the tyres and trim inside of bumper

Hopefully someone on here is running the same set up as me

what ET are your wheels?

215's are 0.8cm smaller in diameter.
225/35 18 are 2.25cm smaller in diameter. which is quite a lot, so your odometer will be way off.

I think your right. This is all very new to me so I relied on information the shop gave me. I didn't realise when I ordered 18" OZ wheels i had different offset options etc.
