Who said these cars can't be economical?

What sort of miles are people getting from a full tank ? I havent drove the clio for 3 months as i was going to sell it but im keeping it now. Cant remember how many miles i used to get to a tank

I usually get around 36 - 39 in fairness i do drive like an old lady I also use cruise whenever I can..

21.4mpg for me =/ live in a big town so no good, yet on put £20 a week in the tank lol.

haha, love it. I couldn't have said it better myself mate.

I've never got 38MPG. I get 24mpg during urban (majority if my driving and cruise control whenever possible.) And a max of 35/36MPG at very most when doing on the motorway at 80/85mph with the revs at 4200rpm and cruise control on.

Yep, a lot of sixth. I averaged 38.4 over 103 miles. Couldn't keep it up though! I usually get around 28 mpg.

My RS200 consistently averages 33 - 34 mpg with a mix of roads and driving styles BUT I rarely drive short distances.... I am happy with those figures because I don't hang about and I only use 95RON Shell or Esso fuel..!
