Which would win 197 or civic Type R

m8 keeps wanting me to give him a race he has a stand type R who would win?

My mate has a type R, there's not alot in it in a straight line but the Clio is quicker

straight line, on paper, type r..

Type R - 0-60 6.6
197 - 0-60 6.9

Although 0.3 of a second could be caught with a poor gear change and good driver.

No point in dicussing this further though, you'll get a one sided debate.

EP3 or FN2 it doesn't matter, regardless of what clarkson says, they are evenly matched, as is the type Rs and 197.

You'll make the most advantage catching him out of his powerband where the 197s superior torque will pull out a good enough lead to keep him behind.

Which civic type r? I presume it's an ep3 just because if it were a ek9 they wouldnt speak like that and FN2s are slow.

Show it a corner and the clio will win by a long shot.

I've had an 09 civic type R chase me and it couldn't overtake but it stuck to my back end 95% of the time.
There really isn't anything in it.

This ^^^ is the most deciding factor. I dont think there will be much in it.

Only way to decide is to have a few races too...

if you have an old abandoned race track, do a few laps, swap cars, do a few more laps.
