which tyres to go for

The clio is due two new tyres on the front so what do people prefer.

do i go for goodyear f1,s or do i keep the continetals.

please help and thanks in advance

just seen these on the pit ( ebay) item number 280367249861

£160 a pair plus delivery. having been quoted £250 a pair for conti,s

Well, go for what ever you can get cheapies as they are both very good tyres.

£78 a corner is a good price but be careful with eBay as they have a lot of fakes floating around.

just make sure you get the best you can afford, whoever had mine before me fitted federals on the front!!! (which I am happily burning off as they are CRAP) and a horrific Nankang on the rear (meaning the back steps out on braking as the continental actually grips and it doesn't!)

...I had this delema last month....stayed with the Conti's...got the pair fitted for £205 at Pro-Tyre in Bristol....

Don't go for the F1's, get yourself a pair of Bridgestone R050A's.

A friend of mine has them and is full of praise.

im getting 2 new ones for the front next week £250 fitted for the contis they have been great up to now. I want to keep the same all round and this way is a good deal cheaper!

Used Yokohama ADVAN A048 on Auris for track-days in everyday use they are too hard to go. Have Toyo Proxes R888 on 197 - pretty the same, but like them more, next week plan a visit to a track on it, then decide weather i like them or not
