30mpg! I’ve no idea how she gets this!

Starts dropping the minute I get it back :worried:

I think that these things are quite easy to drive efficiently IF you can resist the urge to drive them like they are supposed to be driven. I can easily get 36 imperial mpg combined but shifting at 2k rpm ain't no fun. Usually I get around 32.

I wonder what you guys are doing to get 20 mpg, shifting at the redline in every gear?

I guess I do enjoy driving it + my other cars a v10 M5 that does 11mpg so 22 feels great!

I got 32mpg on the drive from Inverness to Silverstone last weekend thanks to average speed cameras for the first 150ish miles & lots of 50mph roadworks on the M6. I get around 30mpg running around locally, but it's not proper stop start traffic like you get in S.E. England where I lived until 20 years ago. Hooning, mid 20s. On track at Silverstone I got...WP_20190217_16_38_29_Pro.jpg

Dash says 28.5, real world calculations are 30-31 mpg. Ive got 34 before on normal town driving shifting at 2k but where is the fun in that!
