What will happen to Number Plates?

.....so far we have had 08 then 58 etc etc.....what happens next year and on....is there a new format or will we see 010 and 510 etc....this will mean longer plates.......

...and after posting I found this on the AA site....

Plate format from 2010
From 2010, the year identifying number will continue to use the last two digits of the year for cars registered in March, with 50 added to that number for those registered in September.

So, for example:

2010: March 10 and September 60
2011: 11 and 61
2012: 12 and 62
2013: 13 and 63
2014: 14 and 64 etc.

...there you go!

...September 2019....I'll be 49!......I wonder if Clio's or even Renault will be around then? Will we have been nanied into driving 2bhp eco cars that do 4000 mpg.......
