what engine oil?

I'm planning on taking my clio to the workshop this weekend for a clean up, new brakes and I'm thinking of an oil and filter change too (6k since last service).

So what's a good oil to be going for, where should I be looking to get it from (will need it by Friday/Saturday).

I read the book a bit back so I know its circa 5litres to fill it.

You will need 6L (5.5L with the filter).

My reccomendation is Motul 300V 5w40. It comes in 2L cans.

changed mine 3 weeks ago and took exactly 5.2litres in total

i used valvoline synpower 5w40 synthetic engine oil

is the silkolene pro-s (fuchs titan race now) 5w-40 rated for the 200 engines? Its well regarded for the 182 and what i used in my old bus.

same engine give or take a few details

Any 5w40 synthetic with an A3/B3 rating, or better is correct

For warranty purpose do you have to use RN710 spec oil?
