What do I need to drive in europe....

I know that there should be some guidelines on line but am getting confused, collected the Rav4 last friday and have decided to take it over to Rotterdam at the weekend, but not got a clue what I should take with me for the car, started a list but have I missed anything?

1. Hi-Viz for everyone in car
2. Insurance cover note
3. Driving License - all parts
4. Spare Bulbs
5. Warning Tri-Angle

Then I have to display a GB Badge but do I need beam deflectors?

Any advice would be good, as never been abroad in a car before.....

Depends if you are going through France (don't know where you live...) you need a breathalyser kit with you in the car, which can be bought for a couple of quid on the ferry.

Mental I know! Kitchen sink next I think!! :@

A first aid kit.

Have a look on either the AA or RAC site and you'll get all the up to date info.

Are you in a recovery service? worth getting european cover for piece of mind.

E111 card and travel insurance (for you not the car)

It a week old so am guessing it's still European as standard for recovery, had a look and breath test is July onwards, only docking at Rotterdam for the day then back over, bit of cheap booze and bacci lol, gotta keep occupied for a few week until the Clio comes and the rav4 is surprisingly not bad to drive
