What did your insurance go up to post mods?

Hey, thinking of getting a remap when I get my car back and couple of little bits. Nothing crazy or that will see it past 200hp anyway.

I'm with esure and they advised a hike of £412.34 I'm 35 &yrs NCB, good area on road parking. Had one minor bump last june and 4 points recently. Current annual ins is 1.1k

I think companies like Adrian Flux reduce your insurance cost with modifications... Or so I've heard...

im currently taking mine out with greenlight, saved me nearly £300. the only reason why ive changed from my current insurance was due to the fact they keep increasing my premiums, its gone up £100 in the last two years, so bye bye aviva, you didnt quote me happy.

Greenlight take £25 every time you change something on the policy. So if you were to add a zorst, remap, change wheels and lower it all at the same time it'd only cost £25.

You may be better off with a specialist, there are two specialist insurers who trade and offer a discount to Clio197.com members, see the trader section 8)
