I'm so jealous reading this post i really want a 197!!! I remember when i had one for the day, i was and still am amazed now much it pulls when you go from 2nd to 3rd under full acceleration... just fantastic!!

1st gear is excellent. Just trickle up to 3 to 4k in it then floor it and the whole of the front of the car lifts under hard acceleration.

2nd gear coming off a roundabout....oh yea

3rd is best when your booting it, the thunder at 5 k just makes u not want it to end, as ure pressed back in ure seat again.

yea i managed to get 3 points last month in mine, ive had my licence 8 years and it the first time ive been caught lol

Soundwise : 3rd gear toying between 3.200 and 3.650...the sound changes dramatically

Drivewise : The change from 3rd going to 4th..because of the gear ratios being so close together.. so 3.5rd
