The washer pump on the Clio no longer works, so I assumed a new pump would sort it and it seems not! If I put a multimeter with one probe in each pin and activate the wash wipe, there is 12.5 volts there but the new pump still doesn’t go.
If I check for continuity to ground neither wire seems to have it is this normal? It’s a 200 with keycard and there’s only one plug on the bottle with the below wiring:

It just has me baffled as surely with 12v it should be working! I’ve wedged a couple pieces of wire into the pump as I couldn’t get a probe in and direct form a battery the pump does go.
Any thoughts ?
TIA
