Warning light!

Just driving along today and a light started flashing on the dash. Just looked in the book and it is a toxic fume filer system warning light. Anyone know if this is bad? Should I go to Renault tomorrow? Cheers

Oh, and it only flashed for around 10 seconds, and did this twice. It hasn't stayed on....if that helps

Had this a few times, don't think it's anything to worry about. Always did it to me when the car was cold so I put it down to the car still warming up.

Keep us updated, I will be surprised if the dealer finds anything.

Went in today. Came up with a fault in, or around cylinder one. Also showed miss firing. So the coil pack for cylinder one has been replaced So I'll just have to see how it goes

Was it flashing all the time then?

Mine flashed for 10 seconds then did not come on for another year down the line, no fault was ever logged both times.

Good to see you are having it fixed though.

It did it twice in one day and never saw anything for the next two days. Thought I'd get it checked though. And that's what it turned out to be

Did it seem underpowerd at all? Or anything like that because iv had this on mine! Will havto get it sorted! How much was the fix if ya don't mind me asking?

Errm no, I don't think i gave it the chance to get worse. As soon as I saw the light, I went to get it sorted. Anyway I didn't go to a Renault dealer as I was told they charge around £70 just for diagnostic. So I went to a local trusted garage and paid £88 for the diagnostic and the coil pack and labour . Not sure if it's good or a bad price

I had a warning light the day I bought the car, not been on since and had it 4 weeks now. I have warranty so if it appears again I will take it in
