Urgent help required - interior door cards

Hi all,

just taken off my passenger door card and was wondering if it would be ok to leave the interior door handle unclipped. It's the one in pictures 17&18 (http://www.clio197.net/forum/showth...e-Door-Card-Speaker-Stop-Door-Handle-Creaking).

i know I won't be able to open the door from the inside but will I still be able to lock the car and open it from the outside? The door card was a bitch to take off so really don't want to put it back together again.
