Correct actually! We don't know enough about wormholes to know that quick travel is not possible!

Do wormholes exist? Black holes maybe but there no way you want to go near one of those.

There are theories that involve folding space but I'm guessing the power requirement would be on levels that if it went wrong you might destroy the whole universe
