I'm coming to the end of both my bottles of Meguiars Endurance tyre gel and Autoglym tyre dressing.
Before I order a new bottle of the Meguiars, I'd like some recommendations.
So, what are you guys using and what do you think of it?
    Cheers

    Interested also.

For quite a while now I've been using Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing (Had two complete Autoglym kits as presents that had this in them).

Great stuff that dries quickly and doesn't fling at all. No real complaints here.

But while I'm not a completely wet-look fan......the Autoglym stuff is fairly 'Satin' in finish though and I'd like something at least a little more glossy....

What's not to like about the Meguiars stuff Sean ?

    •••Gets AWESOME reviews.....

I use megs, it gives great results, at varying levels depending how much you apply. Bare in mind though it's quite messy! My only 'nark' about it, is obviously where you first put the applicator which has bulk of the dressing, that bit gets shinier than the rest, and it takes a bit of blending, but that would happen with any product....

Oh and get a proper applicator, makes things much easier!

I've got megs endurance. What applicator do people use?

I've been putting it on with washing up sponges(10 for a quid savers). They get job done.

Yeah it's basically a glorified sponge, sponge is adequate, I've just seen people using MFs etc and they make a mess. I did have a megs one but the sponge disintegrated so I got an own brand one from cleanyourcar or elitecarcare, can't remember which one, wasn't very expensive and has a cover which is nice as it's messy and it's shaped as well to the wheel.

Poorboys "Bold n Bright" not to your taste Peter......

Heavily advertised as 'no fling' ?

no issues with bold n bright, syer. does the job really well. not overly shiny, no fling, you only need a little bit per tyre. was thinking that auto finesse tyre dressing would deliver an even more satin result?

i quite like poorboys' world products. i use the super slick and suds car wash soap, their clay bar, clay lube, wheel sealant and black hole glaze. good stuff for a very decent price.

I like the Meguiars, it's just so bloody messy! Agree with the Autoglym being satin, I like the more glossy finish.

I really rate auto finesse stuff so may well give the tyre stuff a try.

The auto finesse tyre gloss is a spray on application to get the best results. You can use a applicator, but it doesn't give good coverage - you can see the direction it's been applied in, and it dries like it.

I have the gloss and I won't be buying it again. I would give the satin a shot though.

I have CarPro PERL, I mix it 1:1 (water: PERL), it gives a great semi-satin / more matt finish that looks natural.

Good thing about it, it works amazing on plastics, so it's a "buy one product, does many things" type job.

I like a glossier look to my tyres, been through a lot, megs, zayno, pearl etc, hands down gyeon tyre q2 is the best, little on application, little to no fling and last sooo long! I'll never search for another tbh!

Gyeon Tire, KKD Tyresol or old faithful Megs Endurance gets my vote. Found nothing else that comes close to these 3.
