Trip Computer Display issues

Lol think my car is coming down with good old Renault electrics syndrome.

Got in the car the other morning and the display between the dials failed to appear. So out of frustration I punched the screen and it magically appeared lol.

Having to hit the dash everytime it breaks though is far from ideal, could this just be down to a faulty contact for the backlight?

Also has anyone had any issues with the screen that displays radio / cd etc?
Everytime the weather has been 20C+ the screen fades to practically nothing.

twice in three years i had completely blank display on start up
but not happend for 18 months or so.i just use to turn of and back on again and it was ok

Nah its a 56 plate Coming up to 50,000 miles. Lol I'm actually dreading the next year, I can just see everything breaking on it lol.

I'll see how it goes. Its been doing it on and off for the last week.
