It’s sorted now mate and is perfect. Cost £1 to fix and didn’t want to disturb the one that was there causing more work and mess for myself.

Took a photo of my alternator to help @Mark_L with his wiring and very glad I did because I spotted that the alternator tensioner has snapped clean in half! Thankfully this didn’t happen while driving at an event.



Will have to sort this ahead of the next track day.

Had the same issue with mine. Remade the link out of some better quality steel. Had no issues after that.

I just bought a LH die and made it myself on the lathe out of some hex bar.
