Trackspec Clio 197

Yes mate. Seen that. I'll be adjusting to compensate. I'll be running quite a bit of neg camber with this set up too. I have cup car settings try. So will be altering my set up throughout the day and with tyre changes also. I really want to trial a few settings this year and find what feels right.

Thankfully a good friend of mine is Matt Neal 'Team Dynamics' head mechanic and does all of his set up so I'll have his experience to trial things. He's going to be corner weighting shortly, we're adjusting camber, caster and bump / rebound settings this month. We'll also look at toe too.

Anyone going to Bedford on the 14th?

Great videos, the car sounds really nice. The front splitter looks great on the blue colours.
Thanks.
great long vids..the car goes really well..any more plans this year??
I still need to sort some proper video software out and definitely a new laptop! it takes ages! lol

Think its the driver! Yes mate new gearbox and Quaife diff will go in early Feb. I am also going to delete the A/C and am developing my own delete kit. The Pure Motorsport kit is excellent (I know Colin Satchell who makes it) but it's expensive and so I'm going to develop my own 'simpler, cheaper' version.

I have thought long and hard about going turbo but I really love the N/A bark. I am very tempted now to go for a ITB conversion, head work and cams. I know it wont deliver the performance of a turbo but I just love N/A so this might be the way I go now. Still yet to decide mind.

I can get a ITB kit and catcams through my business and my best friend and business partner specialises is head modification and has done F4Rs before, so I might let him have a dabble! lol

Possibly fit a cage towards the end of the year and strip more weight out with fibreglass bonnet and boot.

I'm considering boosting the 197 engine. Change the rods and pistons for lower compression and strength. Update the valves to supertech inconel. Stand alone, used dta before, management. Tubular turbo manifold, custom inlet manifold. I like the n/a revs but want more torque.
