As off last night. Thanks to @Cliosport-carl for coming over and lending a hand.



I need to route the intercooler pipe work and mount the intercooler next.

It won't be this year mate. It will be early next year when it gets its first outing but I'm aiming to have it all finished by Xmas.

I've started looking at the intercooler pipe work now so will need to order all of that shortly.

Mocked up the intercooler for position last night.

So today got the intercooler mounted. Fabricated my own mounts because I wanted the intercooler to sit just behind the crash bar for added protection.




Fitted



Temporarily refitted the bumper. Nice to see it looking back together.


Next jobs:

Fit intercooler pipe work
Fit expansion bottle
Oils
Water
Build air box
Send ECUs to RST
Fabricate exhaust system

Not much to do!

I like more Pipercross, but I see a lot of ram air in the clio's .

I have the same on my C2 VTS 1.6 HDI.
the noise thats make its insane.

this is true actually..mine was in bits for so long that seeing it put together felt really weird..

Haha yeah it's off in around 2minues now!

Some small updates recently. These cold nights are keeping me out of the garage lol. Only minor things to be done now including finishing the intercooler pipe work, exhaust and getting the ECU done.

Finished off a new airfilter heat shield which doubles up as a holder for the electrics too. Also fitted a new hard pipe kit and adapting it to fit around the Clio rad.

Very small update! I finally found time to post my ECU off to RST. Hopefully this won't take too long to come back now which will only leave me with the exhaust to make.

Plan is for a full custom system and quite different to the standard shaped system...

Fitted the ECU and finished the airfilter set up quickly today. RST were 2 days getting the immobiliser swapped over and back to me, great service.
