Toyosports decat manifold help!

Hi guys

just fitted the toyosports decat manifold tonight and just before the flexi it rests (sits) on the sub frame.. Now this is obviously causing massive vibration when driving. Anyone else had/ fixed this problem?

Any help appreciated!

Looks to be a common problem, lot of people are fitting updated torque mount and taking a nick out of the subframe to give it some space.

I have one fitted pal and yes you need a new lower torque link.

Doesn't rattle at all after that.

KTec do them or you can order from Vibra technics - about £120

I did Vibra technics lower dogbone mount & still needed to notch the subframe.
i just used a grinder & took about 5mm away in a gradual arc, repainted it & it looks factory now.

I had the Toyosports manifold fitted. It knocked like B****H even moving off slowy from junction and was dire at motorway speeds.
Fitted the Vibra mount and all was sorted instantly. You do notice the engine vibrations more at idle, but its worth it just to get rid of the rattle.
