The limiter

So how often do you hit it? I know those in a 200 have the beep, but it doesn't stop it happening!

Is it harmful to the engine at all? I did it today joining the m4.

Sounds great with a ktec cat back and decat but I'm worried it hurts the car! Haha.

Not often as it slows you down a good bit, but so long as your not ragging it for ages on the limter I'm usre you'll be ok now and then, besides the limiters there to stop you over reving the engine

That's why the numbers on the rev counter in a 197 get bigger as you rev higher!!! Warp factor......

BTW, I have hit the limiter plenty of times. No probs, just have to change gear.

On the limiter with the Akrapovic sounds like a machine gun lol.

Limiter it there to stop you braking the engine. No need to worry hitting it.
