Tesco insurance

Anyone insured with them or have been?

Just wantng some feedback before I decide to go with them or not.

I just tried to get a quote with tesco and they wanted £5800 (28 no points edition 30 golf) :bat:

The only consolation is that i would have got loads of club card points! :rofl:

Only know what's been said about them from other people and that is that they are rubbish when it comes to sorting out your claims

Youve just reminded me roy. They took nearly 2 years to sort out a claim when someone ran into the back of me.

personally, i'd rather pay more for a decent reputation, than have qualms if i was unfortunate enough to have to make a claim.

My missus was with them, got hit by total tw@. Tesco were next to useless. Avoid.

+1 for the sake of another 50 quid or so I would like the peace of mind!

Theres minimum £300+ difference and nearly double with other companies.

I've never had any issues. I had a claim on my old 172 Cup in 2005, no problems sorting it out. They are underwritten by the same people as Direct line, so no issues imo.
