Sorry to hear that @Greg0986, was yours on the same front left side?

Yep, front left. A lot of people have this issue and lots of different things have fixed it. I had my inner tie rod changed but that didn't solve it. I changed the top mount on that side before I had the noise as I hit a pothole, so I think if I change it again it might fix it.

did it fix it- i get a creaking sound from the top left of my car- do i need to change any parts?

@Dmonk197 unfortunately I have given up and just accepted the noise as part of the car now...there are other more pressing concerns than this slight knocking
