Struggling for colour match- Glacier White

Anybody been struggling with getting an ideal colour match, Procured a sprint spoiler and now tried three different paint suppliers & products to get decent match, 2 specialised mixes, 1 premix from Halfords. The halfords one being the nearest. I know paint fades/ages and the colour match is even more harder. But anybody had the same issues and what helped them if any.

Although considering putting it into a different colour.

The issue you have can be spraying environment temperature/air pressure/loads of other things will effect the final colour a paint comes out to a degree

It’s also quite hard to match whites as white although it hides all manner of dings and scratches it can be a pain to get bang on as you’ve found out, my fiat campervan when I got some bits done was a nightmare, the only way we got it right was t cut the filler flap and take it and get it scanned, otherwise the new paint was too white, sun discolours paint also and no amount of t-cut will get that back as it basically can bleach the paint for want of a better description

Also primer colour can change the colour of topcoat, I’d use grey or white primer for white, but Renault May have used either which will add variation to the final colour and how it looks

Any good bodyshop should be able to use a machine to 'take a picture' (not sure of the technicalities) of a panel on your car, and from that they can mix a colour to give you a closer match than off the shelf paint.

Thanks for the comments, I have used white primer, but all the whites have been coming out 'greyer' . Temperature I've dealt with space heating the garage. Regards spray pressures etc, its been a combination of spray gun and the halyards being a rattle can.
I'll have another go at colour matching with knocking the fuel cap off.
