Strange steering noise - video attached

Hello gents/ladies


Recently lowered my Clio 197 (grams springs and new cup shocks - will post a review and photos later). A week or so after, when stationary, steering is making very weird noises.

This is not my video, but exactly the same issue and sound.

If anyone has a clue as to what this is, please let me know.

lower ball joints gone. Needs replacing.

It's probably the lower ball joint(s).

If I am correct, the lower balljoint is the one that screws into the suspension arm - No.2 as per the graph above?

No, that's the wishbone. You probably need the #26.

bottom joint is more a "swivel joint" than an actual ball & socket joint

but sounds like it - see if it does it jacked up
