Strange Problem

Hey all,

Got a weird problem happening with my F1, basically when I get in the car and press the start button for some strange reason my boot opens lol..

Its weird and really annoying me now, as I then have to get out and shut it!

Anybody seen this before or any ideas?

That's very mental, not heard of that before. Try starting it with your hazard lights.. Lol

Prob a job for renault but can see how that can be annoying

Is it an earthing problem? Although theres no button to actually open you boot in the cabin....

hmmm its VERY odd, honestly can say I've never heard of that one before :S

this is actually a very common clio problem take the boot switch out and open it up you will find it will be full of water,renew the switch problem solved

I had this problem, got it fixed under warranty, it was put down to 'water ingress on boot latch'
