Sponge or wash mitt

What does everyone use to wash their wheels with a sponge or wash mitt and which is the easiest to clean the brake dust off?

Sponge, it does the job and I don't care that it ruins them (the sponge).

I use a mit on the car and sponge on the wheels, with auto glym wheel cleaner

I use neither. Got loads of different soft brushes for mine.

One for the inside of the wheel, one for the face and one for the little nookes and craneys.

All used with billbery wheel cleaner used at 10:1. Wicked stuff.

I use a mitt to generally get the main dirt off, then as Craig use small brush to get rest off.

I use a mit. But it all depends on how much brake dust is stuck to them bloody things! Lol!

Yh I do use a alloy wheel brush to do some of the worst effected but wasn't sure weather to use a mitt from now on instead of the sponge

Mitt on spokes so I can get behind them, brush on centre cap, bolts and then brush for inside wheels!

I use a brush from bilberry that came with the bottle or my dedicated wheel mitt. Wouldn't ever use the same mitt for wheels and body panels.

mitt (noodle kind) for the paint and a brush for the wheels. Cant really drop a mitt, unless your a complete mong. Which is what i always do with a sponge.
