Snow update: After the lovely weekend we've actually got some snow in Nottinghamshire- A good amount of it too, as I look out the window its coming down thicker and faster every minute, Quite annoying.

Dug the car out this morning to go out but warning lights all over the dash have put that on stop so just got some quick snaps instead. Since then snow has totally recovered the car and I'd say another 1cm has fallen in the last hour.

The car turns over mate, it's an ESP, ABS and service light problem. Suspect it to be frozen calipers as I've seen quite a few with the same problem occuring of the last 2 days

Lovely example, those seats are so much better in leather/alcantara.
Try some boiling water over each rear caliper as it's usually the rears that cause issues.

Went to work last night and came out to a sh*t load of snow... Usual case of frozen calipers, I'm now a seasoned expert at solving that issue, push out from the boss and the Clio pulled me home. Summer tyres on a summer car and still made it home through all the ungritted roads- we've had alot of snow fall here in Notts too, quite a major accomplishment in my books!

I might end up not selling the car after its performance this morning!

Your seats look like they are Corsa VXR Recaro seats lower bolster should wear better. I would like to know how much replacement trims would be for them?


Make sure they are well bolted in and check if the side airbag is hooked up or blocked out once you know and are happy carry on.

They are, they sit a good couple of inches lower than the Clio Recaros too.
Trim as in the leather trim?

Yeah bolted in proper on custom made rails, and airbag is hooked up.

Snow has finally gone and the sun has made a guest appearance which meant a spot of TLC... Really want to make this an amazing example of the Silverstone GP for 2018. This means she's having some attention in the coming weeks.

Today was the niggly stuff... Door sills etc etc... The stuff I wouldn't normally do but now it's looking good. Show season is inbound so double the reasons to have a clean car. Anyway, cleaned, polished and light wax on the lesser areas to make them pop...

Plenty of pic heavy content for those interested and I'm sure some detailing king will still have nicer examples than myself- a weekend warrior
