197: Servicing light help please.

Hi guys,

Servicing light has just came on and said service due now.

How many miles until the car goes into limp mode? As I cant afford to get it done until another month ( 1,000 miles ).

whos told you it will go into limp mode, car will only go into limp mode if the ecu detects pacific faults. with servicing the service light will stop on until it gets serviced and the mechanic resets the light

Hi boys,

Allen Renault and Sanders Renault in Northants.

A guy from a local garage said and I quote " he'd bare his arse in burtons window " if the car went in limp mode.

Don't think I have anything to worry about?

yeah I reset mine the other month as its not due until December
