You’re going to be compromised with which ever tyre you choose.
A road tyre will overheat on track but be better for you for most of your driving.
A track focused tyre will wear faster and give poorer wet grip and be terrible in the winter. There’s the fact that you could also make the tyres illegal on a decent track day and have to drive home on dicey tyres. For me the sensible option is a cheap second set of wheels with some semi slicks.

I agree with this.
I have picked up a second set of wheels and part worn semi slicks to use on track days. The tread pattern on a good road tyre is nothing like a semi slick, I can't imagine how bad a semi slick is likely to be a very wet weather.
Set 1 - road and wet track: PS4s
Set 2 - dry track: any (semi-) slick of your choosing.
Set 2 - dry track: any (semi-) slick of your choosing.
It really depends on how aggressive your driving is, how long you’re out on track/how many laps, how abrasive the track surface is etc.

It's like running winter tyres in 25degrees, you are gonna burn them out quickly, they will work, but not at their optimum level. They are outside their intended working range.
You could use them yes, but I assume you're running OEM camber, then pushing them outside their range, it just means you will have to do only a few laps then come back in and repeat, kinda ruins your flow of driving, I have done it many years ago and it just ruined the day for me, so I never did it again.
They are fine of course. You could run practically anything you want. Will be good grip wise but not great. Will get very hot quickly on a dry day but be almost unbeatable in damp/wet conditions. If you absolutely have to have only one set of tyres then these would be my choice

I religiously stick to PS4 for road driving, great for a wet/damp trackday too. If you could still 100% get the old compound I’d have said AD08R but everyone dislikes the new RS so I wouldn’t bother.
Personally I like having the peace of mind of a spare set when I’m at a trackday, always got a set of wheels to get me home if I burst a tyre or anything. Currently I’ve got PS4 and Direzzas on mine.

PS4s last about 1.5 hard laps and fall off, so you constantly have to cool them down. Plus they have soooooft sidewalls so the tires rolls a lot.
But any tire you pick will inherently be compromised for the other duty. If you guys have them in the UK, I ran Zestinos for a year and they were decent on track and respectable economy, comfort and road nice wise for the street.

NT-05. Treadwear wise > 100. Perfect long lasting for Dry. Good for Wet. Comfort & Quietness not bad providing being Renault enthusiast. Unless, you go for a second hand set already.
