Remove mirror covers?

How do you remove these?
Do you need to pop out the glass first?

had a quick look on CS and you might be able to to fold the mirror in and then prise out the cover that way.

Not really wanting to take the glass out tbh.

Easy....glass unclips, then warm the cover tabs with hairdryer, and prise with screwdriver. Cover will then pull off.

There is a how to somewhere. You need to pull the glass off, firstly by moving the mirror fully in, so the outside is sticking out. Then use a screwdriver to pop the 5 clips off. They can be quite brittle, but they are better when the plastic is warm.
