Recaro seat problem - URGENT HELP NEEDED!

Hi all, supposed to be selling my car today so I got home from work and hoovered all the inside. Now when I put the passenger seat back rest back and push it backwards for it to 'click' into place, it doesn't. The seat is just running freely on it's runners without clicking into place.

Therefore when I'm driving, the seat will fly forwards and backwards depending on if I am accelerating or braking.

Can anyone help me with this?

Yeah tried that, no luck I'm afraid.

Really need this sorted asap and I just can't see what's went wrong.

try pushing it back quick my wife said it does the same on ours some times

Fixed!

The little mechanism that sits in the runner to remember the position of the seat for when you're moving the backrest was too far back for the seat to latch onto. I must have moved it when hoovered
