Well its not a good picture, but why would someone go to the effort to fake them, can understand with expensive watches etc but not for a specialised seat thats only designed for a handful of cars.

If your not sure, view them first, stitching/quality would be tell tale signs.

I think fake recaros are more common than you realise!

Well when you compare them you can see the differences, and the seller seems too keen to get rid.. think im leaving them and getting corsa vxr ones.

He'll be keen to sell them as theres money to be had tbh.

The Corsa VXR ones do look good with being half fabric half vinyl. They are less supportive and slider than the Renaultsport ones.

I think they probably are real i'm just over cautious.

Wouldn't get the Renault ones just because they wear so bad, wish they were half leather.

Anyone had sparco seats before or are they just a poor mans option? so much cheaper !

Sparco's are decent. Had them in my TCE. Not comfy though. You really do get what you pay for.

Don't think they're fake. If you look closely you can see the difference in the lower sidewall height compared to our Renault Recaros. Much lower, ergo - lower friction when entering/exiting the car.

The Corsa has Recaro Cross Sportster seats and the Clio has Recaro Sportster. The onlt different, post in the seat base with the bolster being lower in the Corsa version. Those above look like genuine Recaros that have been re-trimed in leather though it's hard yo tell with the shocking quality of the picture.

Probably real. The only fake recaros I know of are imitation ones of the fixed back bucket seats. China is overflowing with Sparco and Bride copies

For installation though, will the clio subframes that are currently the fitted to the standard cup seats fit the recaro seats?

Nope, you'll need sub frames too.

They look like the VXR seats so you would have to pay more for subframes.
