r27 wheel colour

iv got a set of wheels in being refurbed at the wheels specialists and they have been trying to match the colour for 2 weeks but rang today and said they can only get a colour slightly darker do you recon it will be noticable or look od i want to keep my r27 oem looking, whats your opinions guys?

you'll notice it not worth it imo I think the solution for most people has been to get all 4 done or two so each side is the same colour

im going to get all four done as iv got a spare set but dont want it to not look oem nevermind the wheels are forsale now lol

TBH I can agree with Jimpy, I understand that you want to keep it as close to normal as possible, however getting a set of freshly painted alloys fitted that are slightly different colour would be much much better than an accurate colour on badly damaged wheels.

my wheels aint badly damaged thets y im in to minds they on is bulbling very slightly on one spoke and one has a chip the size of a 5p coin which i touched up and can hardly be seen

Ah right sorry for the assumption mate. I wouldn't worry about doing it in any rush if it is only one one spoke.

i was thinking the same but it just bugs me lol the car is only on 14k now and its like that lol i just want it mint tbh might just leave them

Lol I am the same mate - had it done under warranty, but I have another alloy with it on now :worried:

Its not really a question of mileage Im afraid. I think it is more likely down to the age of the cars. Its pretty annoying but not the end of the world, may aswel 'let it develop' as they say.
