R.S. Performance Carbon Bucket Seats? Anybody?

Gents!

Does anybody here have R.S. Performance Carbon Bucket Seats installed? P/N is RSPSBDCC200220.

Are they actually daily usable? Also, are they proper dry autoclaved carbon seats, like the SPARCO ProDrive WRC, or are they basically FRP shells with a cosmetic carbon outer layer?

Thanks!

According to their description on the Oreca website the shell is full carbon. They also have a FIA certification. So I'd guess they're proper quality.

They also mention that they come with Corbeau side mounts, base plate and runners. The seats are made in England so I'd guess they're actually made by Corbeau.

If you've questions you can contact Oreca directly. They're actually running the R.S. Performance Shop.

They look a lot like these:

And the corbeau seats are much cheaper.

I'd say closer to the Sprint-X tbh

Update: I got a response from the Corbeau seats team, who are actually the OEM behind the R.S. branded ones. Long story short, these are GRP/FRP shells with a “wet” laminated carbon fiber layer applied on top purely for looks. These are NOT autoclaved dry carbon buckets, and the shell itself is NOT layered with carbon or Kevlar either...
