Question...if you bought your car brand new on finance

Everyone's different,
What about people who buy a £5000 197 then pay £5000 for a supercharger conversion.

It's all personal choice.

Interesting replies!

I bought two brand new cars on finance, they were only £5k and £7k on finance, and that point onwards, have never bought a brand new car.

Quite agree with most of what's been said. We gotta think about buying a house now, so no flash car for us now lol!!

The South East - where a 1 bedroomed flat costs more than a 4 bedroom house in 'The North' LOL

Haha I know what your going though mike!! Lol looking for a pad myself in the new year everywhere is Sooo exspensive for so little down the south coast:worried:

Attitudes do change as you get older. Spent too much on cars and modding over the years. Have now vowed never to finance again and bought the last 2 cars outright. Have never bought new though.

At some point not only cars (and houses) matter financially ..... More concerned about not working when I am old and grey (though already a little of both!).

Now that's boring !!

I got my 200 on finance and got like £1000 of extras thrown in.

I then took out a bank loan for the same amount (with a better interest rate) and payed off the finance, cost me like £200 (although im saving due to the lesser APR) but I doubt I would have got the extras thrown in if i wanted to pay cash.

The 0% swung it for me. A 6month old one not to the spec i wanted would have cost nearly the same a month as i pay now for one EXACTLY how I wanted it
