Projector headlights

Who has changed there standard all silver headlights for projectors ?

I have a couple of questions for you,

Does the manual adjuster inside the car still work ?
Can I use the bulbs from my standard headlights ?

I know the cornering lights wont work but I'm not fussed about them.

it should all still work cause it is basically nothing changes.
what are you doinf about the cornering function?

I have swapped mine, everything works as normal. My headlights had the bulbs in already luckily as i had taken the front end off and realised they arent the same bulbs.

I just left the bulbs in on the cornering lights but have been told its a right pain to wire up, due to how they work.

I swapped my silver ones for the projectors. Took me an hour, that was stripping 2 cars.

I got mine from a parts shop on ebay for £66 each and they are genuine items. I'm pretty sure they are H1 bulbs to.

well, I hardly use my fogs now cause it looks so nice at night!!! All blacked-out!

It does affect it yes, but depends on how dark you go with them. 8)

Where are people buying these from?

I noticed that http://www.allpartssouthwest.com/acatalog/Special_Offers__CLIO_Mk4_09_2005__664.html say they get theirs from crash damaged cars. I doubt it would be much more expensive to get a pair from renault and they're guarenteed 100% perfect condition
