Possible to run 16s on a 200?

That's what I thought. Trying work out if it would be worth it, going through tyres at trackdays and the difference in price between the sizes mean for every 2/3 sets I buy I could get another set in at 16.

I think you'd need a 17 to clear the front brake calipers

Pretty sure 17" tyres are cheaper than 16" because they are a more common size!

£59 for one RSR in 16, £89 for one in 17 from camskill. the difference adds up over a few sets.

Im not hard charging down this route of getting 16s, it's just a case of if it was possible id have a peep because it would certainly enable a few extra tyres over the spread of the year.

Just done some googling and no is the answer, sort of.

Some of the rally clios run 16s, but on specialist wheels with bigger clearances.

Thats the conclusion I came to from Google as well, but just thought I'd ask on here on the off chance.
