The piston could belong to any of the engine codes in the above table.

The engine code on the block would give you more of an idea

I am aware of all, but just wanted to find out the piston from that photo as it looks both like an atmo 197 domed and same time megane rs dished turbo....
so a bit confused info there...

Looks like a standard 197 piston to me. What is it you’re trying to accomplish? Is it an uknown replacement engine?

theres a discussion due to the shades of the photo... whether its dished (meg3rs) or domed (197)....

Shading oddities aside which will be a lighting thing it’s a standard 197 piston as pointed out. Here is a 197 piston for comparison.
