I just wanted to run something by you all to see what you thought.
I want to install a Belkin Blutooth Connect into my Clio. I've used them before and you plug it into your cigarette lighter and the 3.5mm jack into you aux in.
I've bought a cable on eBay that goes into the back of the HU that gives me the aux in (male 3.5mm jack). Then I was thinking I could use a female to female 3.5mm connector to join up the two males of the aux cable and the Belkin.
I also wanted to hard wire the Belkin into the stereo so that it gets power when the HU comes on and goes off with the ignition. From what I've read, the plugs that go into the stereo are ISO, so would I be right to follow the diagram below and tap into the red '12v ignition' wire and the black 'ground' wire?
Any comments/thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated
