Pictures of your phone mounting solutions

In my old car, I had a mount that sat in the CD slot and this worked great with my rather large LG V20. However, with the 200T not having a CD slot, I need to get something else.

At the moment my phone just lives in the cubby by the SD card slot, when I'm in the car. But that isn't practical if I want to use Google Maps. Having just spent 10 minutes in the car holding my phone up to various parts of the dash and interior, I can't work out where the phone should go let alone pick which type of bracket to get.

What have you guys got?

I bought this recently which I really rate; https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01FTXXWIY/?tag=clio197-21

I have it attached to the vent just to left of the steering wheel in the center of the car. It's close to the 12v socket so you dont need cables running everywhere. Personally much prefer it to a windscreen mount as it's far easier to reach and easy to give the odd tap on WAZE as and when I need to

Seem's odd to be asking about mounting a phone to use Google Maps if the car has built in SatNav... unless I'm missing something?

You're right, but on occasion, I would like to use Google Maps instead. For example on the meet yesterday, when we were all trying to follow a route that had been plotted on Google Maps. Or as I don't have a live subscription for the sat nav in the car, I want live traffic information on my route.

I got the Brodit one. Used to have the Kenu Airframe Plus but my phone kept tapping against the back of the R-Link housing which was a real annoyance when doing trackdays.

I'm using the Brodit mount that Midri has pictured, but instead of using the phone holder, I've instead mounted a Spigen magnet onto it instead, and just magnetically attach my phone. I've been doing this for years and it means that I can use cases with my phone and the magnet is strong enough to pull through.

I did have a Kenu for a while, but it got in the way too much.
