And does anyone know the cheapest place to get it with the extended mounting kit

Let me put it this way. People who haven't tried it say that it's too expensive for what it is and that the car's setup is very good from the factory.

However, people who had it fitted say it's money well spent, some went as far as to say it's the best mod they've ever done so to answer your question, I personally believe it's worth it, either you track the car or not. You can never have enough braking power I suppose...

I would say its not worth it for normal road driving. However, as Yiannis has said, I believe it to be the best performance enhancing modification I've made to our 200 with regard to its track driving capabilities.

You say that but if your hit up the rear because your brakes were so much better than the 'classic' car behind you I think you'd have a different opinion.

That'd be their fault for being too close to stop safely then wouldn't it!?!

I find that even with the OEM Brembos I still always get a transit van up my Arse who has brakes made of cheese, I do like to "brake test" them occasionally. Lol

Back on topic, bigger brakes on track will get you more time than virtually any other mod pound for pound

True. But you cars still hit. Some of the older classics are still running 4 drum brakes and old style tyres. Those things just don't stop in an emergency. And then there are the transits loaded up to the max with the worst tyres made driving everywhere at 60mph.

Dont get me wrong, I've upgraded brakes myself in the past and will do again in the future.

60!! Most transits round here think its perfectly acceptable to drive at 90

I've been running mine a year now. I run them with mogul fluid n ds2500 pads all round.
On track they are astonishing
