Performance issues

Hi all.
New on here..
My clio 197 seems to have issues on acceleration.
One min it goes very well and on other times its luke its lacking in power.
Ive changed the throttle body as read could be the issue but has made no difference.
Could it be maf sencor?
Help required please

camshaft position sensors have been know to be an issue on some cars

As above, camshaft position sensor. These cars have no MAF but do have a MAP sensor on the front of the engine. Often this is a camshaft sensor issue.

Ill get a cam sencor today and see what happens.

Yea 2 min job.
Id advise jacking it up and doing it from under ther car as much easier to get to.
10mil spanner undo one bolt and unplug it.
Got genuine one from euro on trade for 15 quid
Runs spot on now.

If you are talking about sensor on the gearbox, that is the Crankshaft sensor, not the Camshaft sensor, that is under the inlet manifold.

Sorry yea turned out to be crankshaft sensor
