People who just can't drive!!

Rant Begins:

Driving down to Oxford from Birmingham today on the M40 at 75mph on cruise control. The amount of people hogging the middle lane, when the inside lane is clearly clear!

I always indicate and pull all the way into the inside lane to make a point, to try and get them to move over.

Come up alongside a group of chavs in a Corsa tailgating a Pug 306 with a lad slighlty older than me with his ipod headphones in (that bloody annoys me, headphones - no need) As usual I give plenty of room and pull all the way across and have 1/2 mile before needing to come out and overtake the next car....I start changing tracks on my headunit and catch a glance of him speeding up and then deciding to block me in, in the inside lane, forcing me to brake, and then see him clapping like an idiot. I pull out behind him and just let him go, however he then decides to slow down, so I indicate to go into the outside lane and press my cruise button to get back up to 75. He then decides to come behind me and tailgate me. I'd had enough at this stage so dropped a gear and said goodbye. Makes me so angry, just no need to be a prick!

Then...off the M40 onto the A34...Bentley Continental doing 60 in the outside lane, a Land Rover Discovery undertakes him, and I wait for him to pull over as at this stage I can't be bothered with ******s. He finally pulls over and as I go to overtake he speeds up and deicdes it's funny to stay at the same speed and then tailgate me. I just got off at the next junction and got back on again and let him go.

What is wrong with people these days? They don't drive properly following the highway code of moving in on motorways (outside lanes for overtaking only) and think it's funny to tailagte someone on a motorway, when they are clearly in the wrong. Just intimidation. It's ridiculous!

aslong as people are doing a steady speed I dont mind. ill happily sit behind a wagon at 55 -60 in the inside or middle lane.

i admit u shudnt ponder in the outside lane as it holds other traffic up. some ppl are just a bit dopey

ive always said im gonna buy and old volvo, thats indistructable. Like an old 440, just so i can swap paint with people on the street who annoy me.

Ill hold my hand up, I do bully people who sit in the fast lane, been known to drive so close that i cant see the reg of the car im tailing. Then when they finally give in and move over they give the look like im the one in the wrong. Use all 3 lanes fudge packers!

It is full of retards that should never have been given a license - its not a god given right to be able to drive, only those who are good at it should be allowed on the roads. It is the same principal as to why Im not allowed to perform brain surgery, I would be bad at it and therefore I am not allowed. the same should be true for the roads. It would be infinitely safer if thick people weren't allowed to drive.

What ever you don't throw objects (porn mags) at rubbish drivers on the motorway in a sign written van with the company phone number on it.

It can get you in a spot of bother.

I have to be carefull in my bright orange e.on van. I had some prat in a Fiesta turn right when the lights had just changed to red and green for me. I couldn't see him because a car in the right lane was blocking my view. Anyway, he was going slow and I wasn't, so caught up with him quite quickly and got quite close. He just immediately started mouthing at me and shaking his head. Then when I stopped at the next set of lights he was trying to attract my attention behinde me by beeping his horn. Just ignored him and got on with driving like a normal person!

You are in the wrong. Tailgaters are much worse than lane sitters in my book. What gives you the right to be in front of them? Do that to me and you'll soon find yourself doing 30 in the outside lane coz I take my foot off the gas when some asshole is trying to crawl up my tailpipes!
