Can you add the part number for the second synchros also to the part list you make?

Hey @Northloopcup sorry to bother you once again! I've got my box apart now  all good, third looks like the only problematic gear so not all bad news.

Was after a little advice (really appreciate it) - pulling the bearing off the input shaft - what tool do you use? A bearing separator/the pullers I have access too can't quite get underneath it. Rather than wildly guess/hope and buy shit off the internet I'd rather get the correct tool.

@Stephenvenning thought maybe you could help here too possibly?

I use bearing separators and a press mate.

Yeah, makes sense. Do you know what brand/size? The couple I’ve got isn’t able to fit and I don’t want to randomly be buying them in the hopes they fit.

    Much appreciated @Northloopcup !

Hmm, I may have to just take a chance on one then. Just worried I'm going to end up with one that's not quite thin enough to get under the bearing.

That explains a lot - how'd you do it?

Go under the gear or the selector hub for 6th gear mate. You don’t need much to get the whole lot off. Just watch out for the spacer shim. It’s important that you put them all back in the same place they came from, as you will affect the shimming if not.
