Hi all.
As the title says, had the P0300 Random/multiple misfire code twice in two weeks, but with a few proviso's:
- Happened twice in last two weeks, once when the engine was cold under light acceleration/pull away, and once 40 mins into a drive under hard acceleration
- EML flashed for 20 seconds on both occasions, then disappears entirely
- No notable judder or stutter when EML illuminates
- Car runs beautifully since
- Not overheating
- Coolant/oil good
- Serviced 2 months ago
- Belt/dephaser replaced 5 months ago
Here's an important one: Car wasn't driven more than 300 miles in 6 years before my ownership. It's been running beautifully for the past two months.
Bad fuel perhaps? I thought coil packs, but multiple all at once?
I have a track day booked at Anglesey on Monday, so I'd rather have a little bit more awareness for anything concerning.
