Indeed!

And if you pulled the wadding out the sides and perhaps popped some slightly larger holes in the baffle tubes, it will sound the same as a performance exhaust and would probably start to release the same gains...

Some backboxes like that have millions of baffles in them!

Is there any furthar pics of how the baffle tubes terminate? Are they open ended etc...?

I dont quite understand what your supposed to be demonstrating with the red and green arrows?

Where you have marked it green it looks like its not doing anything

How does that work then?

for me the green tube is unnecessary...:001_unsure:

but i'm not sure, i would like to try to eliminate it...:blush:hmy:
but......from your exhaust because i've no more standard exhaust:-p:-p

Personally i would cut the 3 perforated sections out completely. :thumbup1:

yea was going to say the same when i had mine change to the milltek i couldnt believe the weight of the standard box it weighs a tonne and its huge.

Anybody know if the centre box has baffles? Or is it a straight through with a perforated pipe
