Odd performance problem

Hi guys. I am having an issue with my 197, where the car will not accelerate properly sometimes, and is really down on power. I had a fault coder for knock sensor so I changed that anyway, but I've also recently changed the plugs and coils as well as the cam sensor but none of this has cured it. If I turn the engine off and then back on again, it will be ok again for a while. The only other idea I had is the thermostat or coolant temp sensor being buggered and the car running on the cold settings?

Has anyone else come across this and can help?

Crank position sensor caused that issue on my car, though a dodgy flywheel knackered it up.

Cheers for the reply. Did you get a fault code when the crank sensor was playing up?

I seem to remember there wasn't an error code, but don't take that as fact.
